Itinerary

Demonstrations of how to apply minor SFX easily and quickly, together with how to keep continuity, using various products and methods, including Pro Bondo application.

All students then get to apply and practise what they have seen.

Sculpting to make Pro bondo moulds to take home and fill.

Casting of a finger, to then make look severed and hair punching.

How to wrap hair under a wig and various methods of applying wigs, care and cleaning, to include facial hair application.

Various ways to make and apply your own tattoo designs, including bruises.

Kirstie Stanway

Is a Makeup Artist and Designer with 25 years of experience, trained at the London College of Fashion she then went onto to assist Peter King and Peter Owen on several films, including Little Voice, Velvet Goldmine and Sleepy Hollow where she looked after artists such as Ewen McGregor and Jane Horrocks, also sometimes running the crowd room.

Kirstie went on to Design many acclaimed tv series, films and Documentary Dramas, filming all over the World, with credits such as Skins, Ancient Rome, RTS nominated for best make up Dickens, Heroes and Villans , Holby City, Eden lake , The Decent 2 and has been the series designer of BBC Casualty for 7 years.

Kirstie is an all rounder and can do anything from Period to Prosthetics, Wig making to Hairdressing, Glamour to Gore.
